Order tracking

Order tracking your customers check themselves.

Customers call to ask if their order is ready. Send them a tracking link instead. It shows where each job is on your board and how much is left to pay.

What your customer sees

Your logo, or your shop's name if you haven't added one. The order number, their name and the date of the order.

Then one row for each job on the order: the job number, the product, the quantity and the column it sits in on your job board, in that column's colour. A job you haven't put in a column yet shows as Pending.

Below that, each payment with its receipt number, date and reference number, then the order total, what has been paid and the balance. A voided payment stays on the list, marked voided. Dates show in the customer's own time zone.

What stays private

The page shows no line prices, notes, files or proofs, and it doesn't say who is working on a job. Those stay inside rastr.

How the link reaches the customer

When you email an invoice from rastr, the email has a Track Order button. You can also choose Copy Tracking Link on the sales order and paste it into the message app your customer uses. They open it on any phone or computer, with no account.

Always the current status

The page reads the order each time it opens. Move a job to the next column on the board, and the customer sees it the next time they open or refresh the link. Nobody has to send an update.

Signed links that expire

Each link is signed, so it can't be changed to show someone else's order, and it works for 180 days. If you void the order, the link stops working.

On every plan

Tracking links come with the Free plan as well as Starter and Business. Compare plans.
