Software for digital and offset print shops.
Business cards, flyers, brochures, labels and forms: lots of small jobs, each with its own artwork and deadline. rastr gives each one a record from quote to receipt, without the setup of a full print MIS.
Price breaks by quantity
Set quantity tiers on each product, for example 100, 250, 500 and 1,000 business cards, and rastr picks the right price as you build the quote. Products priced by area or at a fixed price can sit on the same quote. Send it as a link or a PDF, and your customer accepts online. More on quotes.
Proofs before plates or press
Send artwork for approval as one short link. The customer answers each piece from their phone, and every answer and comment stays on the job. More on proofing.
Job orders and a live board
Invoicing an order turns each line into a numbered job with its product, size, quantity, printer and cutter. Print job orders for the floor, or let the team work from the board, with columns for your own steps such as prepress, press, finishing and ready.
Filter the board by printer to see what each machine has waiting. Each day rastr flags jobs that have sat in one column too long for their due date. More on the job board.
Invoices, payments and the books
Invoice from the order, record part payments, and send receipts. On the Business plan, invoices and payments sync to QuickBooks Online as you save. More on invoices.
Is rastr a print MIS?
Partly. It covers quotes, approvals, orders, jobs, invoices and payments, plus a dashboard and sales reports. It does not do imposition, paper and ink costing, stock control or press scheduling. If you need those, a full print MIS is the better fit. If you mostly need every job tracked from quote to payment, start on the Free plan and see.
