Sales orders

Converting a quote

  1. Open Quotes and find the quote.
  2. Choose Create sales order from its menu.
  3. Review the details and adjust if needed.
  4. Set the sales representatives and production managers.

Line items

A line item is both an item on the order and, once invoiced, a job:

  • Product details: the product, quantity and price.
  • Production details: the media, printer and cutting method from the product.
  • Status: the job board column it sits in.
  • Assignment: the person responsible.

Invoices

You create an invoice from a sales order. It takes the order's total, and the order moves to in progress.

Payments

Recording a payment

  1. Open Invoices and find the invoice.
  2. Choose Make payment from its menu.
  3. Pick the payment method and enter the amount and reference.
  4. Attach a photo of the payment slip if you have one.
  5. Save. The payment is a receipt, and the invoice balance goes down.

Reading a payment slip

When you attach a photo of a payment slip, rastr can read the reference number and the amount from it so you do not type them. Reading counts toward your plan's monthly limit of receipt reads. Check what it read before you save. If you are out of reads for the month, the photo is still saved and you enter the details yourself.
